Casa Roca consists of a modest plan with two bedrooms and two baths.

Simple plywood interiors made the project budget-friendly and allow nature to serve as the focal point.

The couple gather in the central dining room, with a bamboo table by Greenington and chairs from West Elm. The pendants are by Mark Chai Arts; the tapestry is by Máximo Laura.

The cabinetry is fabricated by a local Indian craftsman styled in the manner of modern German and Italian kitchens at a fraction of the cost.

New Douglas fir cabinetry, some of which hides the TV, complements the original fireplace.
