Apart from housing storage, the daybed built into the end of the microhouse can be pulled out to accommodate two more guests for the night.

Priced at $225K, the 290-square-foot Paradise model is a larger, more flexible version of the Oasis. The addition of a loft is optional, and the extra room attached to the end of the unit can be made into an enclosed bedroom or a second bath.

The normally straight, horizontal louvers of the screen in the lofted bedroom were also altered for the project.

The main space opens up entirely—visually and literally—toward the Pacific Ocean. It’s clad in large sliding windows that connect the interior spaces to the outdoors.

The bathrooms include a walk-in shower, washer, and dryer.
