Contemporary Lakeside

We were hired by our clients to do a whole-home furniture package. The clients had just moved back to the PNW from California and purchased this Kirkland new construction home by 4D Architects & Steven D. Smith Construction. Our scope included custom furniture for all three levels, decorative accessories, select art, and lighting upgrades. Having recently completed renovations of their other homes, and tired of the process they were looking for a furniture solution that would make the house a home without having to make architectural changes.
The clients are a giant in the tech industry, and a recent graduate of Parsons Fashion School (hello attention to textile details!). The clients wanted the communal rooms to feel serene and calm. In contrast, they requested with a very distinct mancave for entertaining and a sewing studio for the up and coming fashion designer that had some edge and drama!
