Collection by John Colaneri Design

In 2013-2014 my wife and I built our first home that is located in Bergen County, NJ. Our vision was to create a modern barn that was unlike any we have ever seen. This custom home is 4800 sq ft and is located on 2.15 acres. Our great room has 35 ft tall ceilings with a cupola at the top. Throughout the home reclaimed wood was used in many different areas. The wood was salvaged from a 100 year barn located in Ohio. The clean lines and imported Italian Kitchen give the home enough balance of the contemporary finish. We really wanted to mix and match as many materials as possible. On the outside of the home you have corrugated siding, ipe, stone, and a standing seem roof. On the inside you have a mix of stone, wood and metal in many areas of the home. On top of the design the home is very green in the way of the entire home being radiant heat, closed cell insulation, tankless hot water heater, and LED lights.
