Chaudthier's House in Belgium

The house is built a the top of Vesdre’s Valley, next to Liège, it’s surrounding the landscape and let us enjoy the views of the countryside through seasons.
The house is almost buried on the north side and totally opened to south and panoramic view.

It’s inspired from Moderniste Study Case from 60’s which I love! Open spaces, living on the ground floor, big windows to live with the garden and nature.

Smooth and cosy materials such wood, granito, bricks are used to give the house its personality.

It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a library/play space, living room, open kitchen to dining area and services rooms such washroom, cellar… It’s 528 inches (180m2) and a huge garden what’s part of a agricultural and protected area. We living between lambs and horses…

The house is heated by a ground source heat pump, has dual-flow ventilation and we use rainwater for washmachine, flushes and garden.
