Cabins

Each modular cabin is built in the KONGA factory in Lithuania, and can be set up on site in a single day.

Scalar Architecture placed the cabin on conrete piers to minimize its ecological impact on the surrounding landscape.

A patio connects the family’s trio of My Cabins.

Hanna’s bedroom loft floats above the kitchen’s Caesarstone countertop. Serge Mouille sconces complement linear Pure Edge Lighting pendants. Next to the kitchen, and not visible, are the pantry, laundry, and two spare bedrooms and bathrooms arranged around the front garden.

A bed built into the bathroom wall pulls down to replace the sofa. An Olio teapot designed by Barber Osgerby sits on the counter.

The bedroom features a large picture window and built-in shelving and seating.

Expansive windows and built-in seating blur the line between the interior and the landscape.

The walls and the ceilings of the cabins are dressed with poplar plywood and the flooring is made from locally sourced ash.
