There’s now more functionality inside the door, with a built-in bench and closet storage. The green hex tile from Fireclay defines the space as separate from the rest of the living areas, while the same wood wall cladding unites them.

The view of the new entry addition tucked to the side of the living room, which was left undisturbed. Pellegrini likes how the addition of the entry as a transition space lets the view “unfold,” as people enter. “It really adds to the experience of the home,” says Pellegrini.
