The serene master bedroom has a strong indoor/outdoor connection.

Cozy and warm, the main bedroom generously opens up to a private balcony on the north side.

In a bedroom, the walnut live-edge bed is a custom design from Emily Summers Design Associates.

On the other side of the living room lies a warm and cozy bedroom, complete with a fireplace of its own. A wall of built-ins provides plentiful storage.

This bedroom, as well as two private studies, received the same built-in furniture treatment. Exposed studs further enable those built-in elements to blend with the framework of the house.

Large-scale artwork makes a statement throughout the hotel, and the collection includes paintings by Parquet Courts singer Andrew Savage. The bathroom juxtaposes chevron wall tile with a traditionally appointed sink and luxe black stone floor.

For a bedroom accent wall, Nagel chose Justina Blakeney's Cosmic Desert wallpaper in teal, also from Hygge and West, and paired it with a Joybird bed and bright red curtains.

The home has three bedrooms and three baths. This bedroom features full-height doors leading to an outdoor terrace.

A Glo-Ball pendant from Flos and a Saarinen chair brighten a guest bedroom. The teak headboard is from Central Station.

The king-sized bed and end tables are from West Elm.

The roof of the wooden “box” portion of GriD's Spa Creek House contains the lofty master bedroom. The covered balcony enjoys commanding views across the creek to the historic district of Annapolis, Maryland.

Dorien Knegt's vision comes to life in all areas of The Prinseneiland House. The window of this sage-colored bedroom faces into the interior of the home.

The existing footprint and scale of spaces was reworked to suit the clients’ specific needs. This included converting the indoor pool pavilion, which wasn’t in use, into a spacious and light-filled master bedroom suite.
