In the master bedroom, a translucent sealant was applied to the painted ceiling and exposed beam to retain their original textures but create a homogeneous appearance.

The cabinets are the same patinated steel as in the kitchen, and the wood floors and built-in bed are the same pine as the living room, with a Bona Oil finish in Frost.

The kitchen features custom-lacquered cabinets with white oak handles and, in lieu of upper cabinets, a wall niche to display dishes.

The bedside sconces are from Ladies & Gentleman Studio.

The raw edges of the antique teak wood shelves bring an organic touch to the the living area.

The floors are Cocciopesto, a traditional and natural treatment made of small pieces of broken tile, pottery, and brick mixed with a lime binder. "We didn't want to use ceramic tiles,

Scala Studio replaced the original floor tiles with repurposed herringbone parquet. The Blue AJ Mini lamp is by Louis Poulson, and the cupboards are made to order.

“It needed to be a sleeping niche that could become very dark,” says Pulcrano of the bedroom. A porthole window offers light when desired, and curtains encircle two sides for when it’s time to create total darkness.

Jessica's home displays a curated trove of her vintage treasures and assorted ephemera carefully collected over the years.

To save space in the bedroom, Molly and her partner, Ryan Scott, designed a bed frame that nests into the corner. Drawers at the foot of the bed add storage, and a bench doubles as a side table.

The Meyers didn’t just consider the surface level when designing their primary bedroom. “You don’t really think about the look of a mattress, but there's so many times where you’re taking your sheets on and off. And to do that and be able to look down at a mattress that is beautiful, it’s definitely a plus,” says Derek. “Obviously, comfort is paramount and it checks that box, but to have something that’s also aesthetically pleasing is a definite bonus.”
