The ladder up to the sleeping loft with natural wood rungs gets tucked up behind the door when not in use and pulled out at an approachable angle when in use acting as a second security system. The loft railing and face are cuts from local Hawaiian Ohia that the owner provided towards the project. We were so excited to incorporate building materials they had.
