Bathroom

The bathrooms all feature a skylight that brings natural light into the space. "We felt that it was very important to bring the sky into the most private space. We really pushed to have this," says Tatangelo. "It makes the room feel completely different." The pebbles in the wall element were all hand cut and hand placed.

The bathroom features terrazzo floor tiles—which have a similar pattern to the material used to construct the fireplace in the living room.

Like the rest of the home, the bathrooms have been completely remodeled and feature all-new fixtures and finishes. Wide subway tiles climb all the way up the wall in the shower.

A custom-made, birch-and-steel frame cabinet with a marble top and ceramic vessel sink is accented by round mirrors.

The bathroom is finished with the same green tiles as used in the chimney well. Large-format tiles imitating terrazzo line the bathroom floor and shower walls, including the built-in bench.

A Wyndham Collection freestanding tub anchors the master bath. Low-flow fixtures are installed throughout.

Wei collected the tub and shower in one designated wet area wrapped in tile, then installed a custom vanity.

Wei outfitted the room with Heath Ceramics wallpaper from Hygge & West. “I'm just generally big into wallpaper and especially in powder rooms,” says Wei. Blue accents and plywood details are repeated throughout the home to create a consistent throughline.

The sunroom is off the master bath. "The homeowner asked for a stand-alone tub," Simon says. "We've done them in the past, but never had a homeowner lead us to install one."

Thin, slatted wood paneling adds warmth to this bathroom.
