In the primary bath, green Dal tile complements birch plywood walls.

The walls are covered in waterproof plaster.

The shower and toilet are tucked in their own enclosures, so the doors can be left open to frame the custom vanity, which was designed to have the same wood tones as the screen but not compete. The flooring is Tappeti Green Blend Mosaic from Artistic Tile.

In the shower, handmade Bubble Hex tile from the Futura collection at the Portland–based company Clayhaus Tile makes a stunning statement.

The second-floor bathroom includes a washroom that can be closed off from the bathing area with a sliding glass door. Bauer and Magid can supervise the kids’ baths or use it as a steam room.

The guest bathroom features bright turquoise Arcilla Field tiles by Ann Sacks and brass fixtures and fittings that will develop a patina over time. A skylight above the shower provides natural light and brightens the room.

Both renovated bathrooms are outfitted with new Heath Cermics tile.

The guest room's bathroom features a sconce by Lindsey Adelman and all-green tiles. Since this bathroom is also the powder room, the owners wanted it to be fun.

The couple wanted stacked ceramic tile to be a repeated feature of their home, alongside white oak and oversized knobs.

The bentwood mirrors and brass fixtures in the master bathroom fit in with the subtle midcentury design language throughout the home. A large window fills the space with natural light, which bounces off the white Carrara marble vanity top and herringbone tiles on the wall.
