The home's single bathroom contains tile by Daltile, quartz counters, and custom-built walnut cabinets.

Light pours through clerestory windows in the master bathroom. Staying true to the home’s overall aesthetic, Sweet used simple, contrasting materials—white oak for the cabinets and Ann Sacks white tiles for the walls.

Antique furniture, oversize oil paintings, and bombastic statues adorn the common areas, while Art Deco motifs and references carry through in the bedrooms and suites.

Four suites feature a clawfoot bathtub at the center of the room.

The subway tiles in the bathroom echo the pattern of the bricks elsewhere in the house. Strategically placed windows let the daylight flow in, even during bath time.

The primary bathroom in black and white is fully tiled in opposing brick and hexagonal shapes that widen the space. The shower features a lovely tiled bench beside one of the second floor windows.

“One of the reasons we clicked a lot was because they were really interested in having local furniture designers or craftspeople be involved in the interior design and the furnishings, and I'm always interested in bringing in local talent,” says Joshi-Gupta, who opted for this butterfly wallpaper by designer Sean Yseult, New Orleans local and also the bass player for the band White Zombie.

Cle tiles, a Duravit sink, and Vola fixtures were used in one of three bathrooms.

In the main bathroom, a white oak vanity topped with a honed Carrera marble counter. The flooring is terrazzo Pisa Polished 24x24 tiles.

Daltile 2x8 Mod Wall navy tile was stacked vertically behind a white oak and marble vanity in the bathroom. An arched mirror continues the motif.

Decorated in white tile reminiscent of the Zanotta grid, the primary suite bathroom radiates sleek modernist functionality.

The bathroom has been decorated in neutral colours to help create a clutter-free sanctuary. Hidden storage is built into the ceiling above.

The gleaming white bathroom, with shower partially enclosed by glass, mirrors the ambience of the living room and mezzanine.

Adorned in subway tile, the bathroom is as bright and airy as the rest of the home.

In the bathroom, the cast iron tub is a Paris flea market find, and the cement floor tiles were designed by Alix and made in Istanbul. “I love to use mosaic tiles in gradations of color,” she says.
