The warm and luxurious bathroom features a Toto washlet with water jets and a heated toilet seat. The large shower with timber floor slats faces a view of the garden.

Dark gray marble slabs are complemented by cedar accents, in the slat wall and ceiling treatment, as well as the paneled wall.

The floors are a handmade ceramic tile and the vanity is covered in micro-cement, with a stone vessel basin.

"A lot of the interiors included natural stone—completely unpolished and unsealed that we really wanted rough and exposed," says the firm. "Because the house is so minimal and clean, we wanted to create contrast within it. Unsealed travertine is so much more beautiful and natural than when it’s completely machined over."

In the master bathroom, a matte Ove tub from Wetstyle is one of Maca’s favorite getaways. The angle of the custom window, designed with a minimal frame to maximize the view, mimics the roofline.

Marble, wood, and plaster converge to create a timeless symphony of materials. “Like all of our work, we are interested in using classic, natural materials, but detailing and articulating in a decidedly new and unexpected fashion,” Worrell says.

The countertop in the master bathroom is Taj Mahal quartzite. The master shower is separated from the rest of the bathroom with a decorative curtain, rather than a glass door, so the space feels like its own separate experience.
