Here, the pitcher is a 1960’s West German Vessel from Rudi Rocket, and the Kristall Soap Dish is by Walther from the Oliver Thom Store.

The bathroom's large windows brighten the room, while encouraging long, lazy soaks in the bathtub.

Terrazzo floors and skylight up above add visual interest.

In the primary bath, which includes the home’s only indoor shower, Lachapelle used plumbing fixtures and hardware with an oil-rubbed bronze finish that relate to the touches of black in the living space. The wood dowel and leather triangle towel holders are from Schoolhouse.

Since micro-cement is waterproof, Curtis also used it to cover the shower walls, dispensing with the need for tile and the busyness of grout lines. A full-height linen shower curtain adds more texture and movement, and the plumbing is handmade of brass.

“We love color and embracing Mexican design,” says Chuch Estudio Co-Founder Aranza García.

Boyer added the primary bathroom, with a surprise wrap of pink plaster on the walls and ceiling.

Hong took a risk and mixed tiles from different manufacturers to achieve the custom tile mosaic, using white tile from Bedrosians with mustard squares from Firecley. The black penny floor tile was a Wayfair find, while the vanity is by North Coast Modern. A Triple Seven Home sconce was placed above a Wayfair mirror.
