The home’s original facade included wood board and batten finished in light gray and crossbuck designs. Worrell Yeung updated the exterior with a moss-inspired custom dark green finish.

The wood inside was harvested from the local forest. Anders’s favorite spot in the home is the sofa situated under an almond tree in the greenhouse.

The pink island in Fireclay tile anchors the reimagined kitchen, where white oak cabinetry by Michael Grandy features integrated custom pulls. Cedar and Moss flush-mount fixtures replace generic can lights throughout the space.

In the bedroom, the clients requested an almost black hue, so Anderson joined "Superwhite

The circulation now moves through this portion of the kitchen, but the cook is protected by the U-shape on the opposite wall. The niche is a functional spot for making coffee or kids' lunches, out of the main cook's path.

Now, tall storage cabinets surround a niche with Kappa tile from 41Zero42, this time in a brighter hue, combined with a plainsawn white oak frame and Rosso Verona marble counter.

Built-in cabinetry beneath the staircase provides extra storage space for the 1,024-square-foot home.

At 1,026 square feet, being conscious of clutter can be particularly pertinent. Small storage hacks, like this tidy spice and wine rack in the kitchen, save time and repeated headaches in the long run.
