Originally, there was a single sink to the right and a toilet to the left of the window. Reconfiguring the layout of the bathroom allowed us to expand the counter area and add a second sink, creating symmetry with the existing window.
The two bathrooms are sited on either end of the rectangular plan. Each have been fitted with discrete skylights for additional illumination.
Shielded from the sun by large overhangs, the master bath is wrapped in full-height glazing. The porcelain tile floors are from Porcelanosa, and the walls are a mix of Western Red Cedar, tile, and painted gypsum.
The bathroom continues the black perforated theme, and features an asymmetric pitched roof.
The use of walnut, red concrete, and reinforced concrete remains consistent throughout the master bath.
The master suite bathroom features an outdoor shower.
