The same white oak flooring continues on this level, combined with built-in storage by Kevin, using Ikea cabinets with a custom natural oak countertop leading into the dressing room.

The backsplash is ‘Hunter Green’ ceramic tile by Fireclay Tile, and pops of green became a theme throughout. The counters are ‘Faro White’ by Silestone.

The cabinets are IKEA frames with 'BASIS Natural Oak’ fronts by Reform.

The dropped ceiling is old-growth fir that was discovered under plaster during the demolition phase of the project, and was repurposed for interior finishes. The custom island prep table is by Vintage Mill Werks, with Hay stools.

The custom couch and stairwell were integrated to make the most of the modest space. The ceiling was opened up to expose the original joists and provide as much additional height as possible.
