A52 Apartment
A52 Apartment, Kiev, Ukraine, 2021
This 240 sq.m. space was created by joining three small apartments into one. We had to destroy all existing walls and build the new one. Our goal was to create a comfortable space for a family of three including toddler. We divided it for sleeping and living areas. The first one has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 closet rooms. The second one has living room, kitchen with dining area and a playground for toddler.
The building is situated in a quit center of Kiev where traditions are mixed with novelty. So we decided to use the same concept with the interior and make it timeless. Our Versailles parquet floors combine with simple painted walls. And contemporary furniture combines with vintage and iconic interior products. Such as Papa Bear and Etcetera lounge chairs, Louis Poulsen and Astep lights, Knoll chairs, Muuto vase, etc. Apartment is filled with Ukrainian Art.
Owners had a special request. They wanted to have both, open and separated kitchen. So we made a sliding glass system.
Because this apartment is for growing family it was important to rationally map out the space and plan a lot of storages. We created very comfortable space. Interior is light and cozy.
