Diana: Abstract, Nature-Inspired Street Art

Italy-native Tellas's work has been described as "symptomatic of a new breed of quieter street artists." We like the contemplative geometric fields he creates—they're easy to get lost in. Catch a time lapse of his work here:

Kelsey: Flatware Fiesta

If Mondo Blogo isn't on your design reading blog(o)roll, what are you waiting for? It's a treasure trove of archival design content, organized by (or rather, published at the whim of) Patrick Parrish, who started Mondo Cane gallery/store in New York in 1994. This post from way back tickles my fancy this week, as I just finished my own flatware hunt. These picks range from the flat and Bauahus-inspired to curvier, anthropomorphic, and Post Modern cutlery. It's enough to fuel your Ebay searches for decades.

Anna: Carrie The Musical

Stephen King was all I read in my youth and I'm a HUGE fan of horror movies. Musicals are ok, but a musical like this one..YES please! San Francisco's Ray of Light Theatre is presenting Carrie The Musical this fall at Victoria Theatre. I'm totally getting my prom dress out of storage…it's so ON!
