Designed by SF-based artist Jay Nelson, the Golden Gate is a modern electric camper car made with fiberglass, epoxy resin, plywood, glass, bike parts, and an electric motor. Comes with a kitchen, stove, cooler, storage cubbies, toilet, bed, and storage below the bed. And get this—the driver sits cross-legged while operating the vehicle.
Nope, that's not a writing board, it's the steering wheel.
With a last minute deadline, architect Burton Baldridge transformed a decaying trailer into a modern green home for Stubb's, an Austin, Texas club. Baldridge teamed up with Branson Fustes of Pilgrim Building Company to work on the interiors and building custom furniture, such as a bar on one end.
