Fashion Tower Bench

For this commission, GRT ARCHITECTS asked us to design and produce a set of custom benches for the lobby of their Fashion Tower project in Manhattan. Taking cues from the pleated marble walls, our design incorporates subtle angles in the seat and legs to create a comfortable, solid structure. Made by hand using traditional joinery techniques, the legs are fastened to the seats with through tenons secured with ebony wedges.
