All of Chicory’s fabrics, including the velvet and bouclé, have been solution-dyed (meaning the upholstery has been dyed to its core versus just on the surface) and are moisture-, stain-, and fade-resistant.

“While velvet is typically thought of as a delicate novelty fabric given its luxurious feel, it is actually one of the most durable fabric options that exist,” adds Parsa. “Thanks to its vertical threads and weaveless design, it possesses a natural resistance to snags, pilling and offers excellent breathability, allowing for optimal drying.”
