A-frames were a popular form for mid-century second homes, combining the excitement of a soaring space with the economy of nothing more than two planes resting against each other for shelter. Bromley Caldari preserved the structure's timeless silhouette while imbuing it with a luxurious new lining. A new stair threads a sinuous path through the three-level home, which has a double-height living area overlooking the Great South Bay.
