Currently owned by Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk, this SoHo pad occupies the second floor of a 120-year-old building and checks all the boxes when it comes to loft living: 16-foot-high ceilings, soaring windows, and exposed brick walls.

Hosk, who purchased the apartment in 2014, spent two years working with Alveary Architecture to open up the main living area by pushing the kitchen and bedrooms to one end of the floor. “I had a blank canvas to start from, which was really exciting because I wanted to build something that really felt like me,” she says in a recent profile by Architectural Digest.

The ensuing process was delayed for months as Alveary worked with city officials to approve a formerly un-permitted mezzanine level. The rebuilt upper portion of the apartment now houses a principal suite, with the kitchen and second bedroom tucked underneath. The result is an expansive living and dining area that Hosk decorated herself—finding furniture, artwork, and other designer furnishings by scouring vintage stores, auctions, and even Instagram.

With a baby on the way, Hosk has decided to list the home with an asking price of $3,500,000. Among the selling points of the two-bedroom, two-bathroom pad is its location in the heart of SoHo's Cast Iron Historic District, along one of the neighborhood’s romantic cobblestone streets.
