Design and built by Oliver Stankiewicz and Cera Bollo—the husband-and-wife team of Canadian tiny home builder Summit Tiny Homes—this 22-foot-long, contemporary tiny home named The Wanderer was crafted with mobility and adventure in mind.

Parked in Vernon, British Columbia, and now available for sale for $53,780, The Wanderer has 175 square feet of comfortable and stylish living space. Constructed with an aerodynamic roofline, the small residence features a fold-down deck that makes it easier to transport than most tiny homes.

The Wanderer has a bedroom located on the main floor, as well as a lofted sleeping space. It also features a full kitchen and bath.

“Our inspiration behind this build was to create a fresh, stylish, and modern tiny home that's ready for travel,” says Bollo, who was responsible for the interior design of the home.

“Most tiny homes have loft bedrooms, which are great, but not everyone is capable of doing stairs, and climbing into a small loft,” notes Stankiewicz. “Our goal was to create a home with a main-floor bedroom, and we managed to do it in such a small space. We also used the end wall above the feet to put a built-in closet.”

The secondary loft can be used as an additional sleeping area, storage space, as well as a leisure zone for reading or movie nights.

Though the kitchen counters look like stone, they are in fact concrete overlay. “Concrete overlay has the same look as expensive stone, but is cheaper and lighter, which is important for a tiny home,” says Bollo.

“You have to be creative when designing tiny homes as you have to find places to hide things. The Wanderer has everything you need for full-time living and enjoying the simple life,” adds Bollo.
