“Our process is often an act of discovery for something refreshing or distilled surprises,” says Wong. This is reflected in the studio’s pieces, as with the Drum Series, a set of storage options with intersecting “ribs” that, upon further investigation, can organize smaller items. Their most recent project, Luxury Towers—for Oki Sato’s K%—is a set of glass containers, inspired by the ritual of dressing up and designed so the pieces stored appear to float above the surface. Slow and steady may occasionally win the race, but Studio Juju’s ingenuity and practicality puts them well ahead of the pack.
