The creator of Spider-Man spent his time in San Francisco relaxing in this Four Seasons residence.

The late comic book veteran Stan Lee is the creator of some of the most revered superheroes of our times—including Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Incredible Hulk. First as a writer and later as creative director at Marvel Comics, Lee helped the company become a multimedia empire with a nearly unrivaled reputation. After passing away in late 2018, his former residence in San Francisco is now up for sale.

Located on the 22nd floor, Stan Lee’s former San Francisco home is among a collection of private residences inside the Four Seasons. The downtown Market Street location is just steps away from Union Square, the Yerba Buena Gardens, and the Ferry Building Marketplace.

Reportedly, Lee often stayed  in the condo with his daughter when the two visited San Francisco for vacations or other quick getaways. The almost 800-square-foot, one-bedroom space is compact but well-appointed for a long or short-term stays—and it comes with access to all the amenities one expects from the Four Seasons.

One of the only five-star hotels in San Francisco, the Four Seasons also offers private residences on the upper floors. Lee's apartment is among the smallest in the building, with other active listings including a renovated penthouse for $16.5M.

In addition to 24-hour doorman and concierge service, the hotel residence offers the convenience of in-room dining and state-of-the-art sports facilities downstairs. Luxurious details include Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout, along with granite counters in the kitchen and a marble bathroom. Scroll ahead to see more of the property, which is currently listed for $1,350,000.

Once inside, a luxury kitchen is located to the left, with a peninsula counter open to the living room.

The kitchen offers granite counters, built-in and stainless-steel appliances, and plenty of cabinet space. If you're not in the mood to cook, another option is the 24/7 access to in-room dining from the Four Season's own kitchen downstairs.

The large living room features an expansive central window and space for a large sofa. Brazilian cherry hardwood floors create a warm canvas for the new owner.

Facing east, windows in the living room and bedroom overlook views of San Francisco. A cozy window seat provides a space to take it all in.

The bedroom is also spacious and full of natural light, thanks to another large window overlooking the downtown skyline.

A large closet area is located adjacent to the bedroom, as is a private washer and dryer.

The bathroom is finished in neutral marble and crisp white cabinetry.

765 Market Street #22c in San Francisco is currently listed for $1,350,000 by Leslie Bauer of Climb Real Estate.
