210 West 90th Street, 2B in New York, New York, is currently listed for $4,650,000 by Sotheby's International Realty - Downtown Manhattan Brokerage.

Renovated by Gramercy Design, this chic yet inviting home at the iconic Astor Court combines modern conveniences and historic pre-war charms. The apartment’s entrance is through a semiprivate vestibule that’s shared with a neighbor, and leads into a flowing floor plan with soaring, 10-foot ceilings. A spacious foyer leads to a wide center gallery flanked by custom bookshelves, a perfect backdrop for showcasing the most robust of book and art collections.

The hall is open to the living room on one side, and the dining room on the other. The formal living room is bright and airy, and is peppered with stylish details like elegant wood paneling, a wood-burning fireplace, and an ornate plaster ceiling medallion anchored by an Apparatus light fixture. The room faces south, looking out over Astor Court’s lush private gardens.

The dining room—currently used as an informal family room—is enveloped in Studio Zen wall coverings made of dried leaves applied to paper that create a chevron pattern. It’s a perfect space for both entertaining and everyday living.

The kitchen has been updated with calacatta caldia marble countertops, and cabinets with pewter hardware and reeded glass. Fixtures are from Waterworks and Barber Wilsons, and state-of-the-art appliances include a Burgundy Lacanche stove with a custom zinc-covered hood by Bednark Studios. The space includes a grandly scaled laundry room and pantry.

At the west end of the home is a private wing with three spacious bedrooms, two of which feature an en suite bath. Like the living room, the primary suite faces south, overlooking the Astor Court gardens. A walk-in closet is outfitted in stained white oak, while the en suite bath is accented with fixtures by Waterworks.

There are two additional well-proportioned bedrooms, as well as a playful powder room with Koi wallpaper from Voutsa. The building, developed by Vincent Astor in 1915 and designed by Charles Platt, has a rooftop terrace, children’s playroom, bike storage, laundry room, garage, and the aforementioned private central garden. The pet-friendly, full-service complex has a live-in manager and 24-hour doormen, and owners can use units as pied-a-terres. Multiple parties can jointly purchase the home, and can choose to buy it completely furnished.
