Rebecca and Jared Raskind are quite the couple. She’s the vice president of CLD, a fashion and celebrity PR company, and he’s a photographer; in their time off, they put their creative minds together renovating and flipping homes throughout the greater Los Angeles area, “turning the often overlooked homes into diamonds in the rough," says Rebecca.

Their latest endeavor, a 2,501-square-foot, three-bed, three-bath fixer-upper built in the 1960s in the celebrity-studded Outpost Estates neighborhood, just sold for more than $2,500,000. But when the Raskinds first purchased it, it hadn’t been updated in quite some time. “We had been dying to revive an architecturally interesting property, and when this project came our way, we jumped at the opportunity," says Rebecca. "But, the house itself was pretty dark and not in great shape."

The Raskinds were up for the challenge, knowing the results could be incredible. "The home had outstanding bones to work with," she says. "Additionally, in this neighborhood you can afford to be bold with design because a lot of homeowners are creative types or in the entertainment industry."
