I love the way the vertical facade element with the zig-zaggy canopy keeps my eyes coming back to the center—definitely some mid-century elements. This building is next to the Sacre Coeur church in the old part of town and was probably built by USAID in the 1960s. It was a Catholic school for many years and is now a public middle school.
