Jodie Foster's Secluded Beverly Hills Home Lists For $15.9M

By Jennifer Baum Lagdameo
The two-time Oscar winner just put her impressive Beverly Hills mansion on the market.

It's no surprise that the semi-retired, two-time Oscar-winning, two-time Golden Globe-winning Jodie Foster would prioritize her privacy—and indeed, that's one of the selling points of the actress' just-listed, extremely secluded residence. Located just above lower Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills, the updated two-story, 1950s traditional-style home is set on over one-and-a-half-acres of land hidden behind a thick hedge and camera-surveilled gates.

The traditional estate is incredibly private, yet conveniently located just above lower Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills.

The garden walkway leads to a double-height entry hall with a contemporary chandelier composed of pendant lights of varying shapes.

Inside, the expansive 7,500-square-foot property features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and two half bathrooms, plus lots of space for indoor/outdoor entertaining. Foster purchased the property from producer and entertainment executive Colin Callender almost seven years ago for $11,750,000, and now she's listing the expansive estate for $15,900,00.

The formal living room is bright, airy, and flooded with natural light that streams through a trio of full-height French doors. The doors open the room to a trellis-shaded brick terrace. The space is anchored by a grand fireplace and flanked by a formal dining room and a media lounge.

The elegant kitchen has vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings paired with chic steel-gray cabinetry and white marble countertops. French doors open the room to a sunset-facing terrace with an outdoor fireplace and sweeping views across the canyon.
