“Glee” Star Lea Michele Lists Her Brentwood Bungalow for $3.15M

This peaceful four-bedroom oasis in the middle of Los Angeles has a refreshing backyard pool that we’re dying to cannonball into.

Acclaimed for her role as Rachel Barry on the hit television series Glee, Lea Michele is parting ways with her 1950s bungalow located in the coveted Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood. The Emmy-nominated actor/singer reportedly purchased the property in 2015 for just under $3,000,000, and has since treated the home to a significant remodel.

Tucked away in the rustic-luxe area of Mandeville Canyon, the 3,164-square-foot home offers ample privacy without sacrificing a convenient commute to Los Angeles.

Spread across 3,164 square feet, the light-filled residence features four bedrooms and four baths, as well as an eat-in kitchen fitted with stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. In the living room, custom built-in shelves hug a large fireplace, while a large, pivoting glass door provides direct access to the backyard.

After purchasing the historic property in 2015, the Glee star completely remodeled the space for contemporary living. Fashion stylist and interior decorator Estee Stanley assisted with establishing the home’s aesthetic.

The airy living room—tucked underneath a vaulted ceiling—flows between the kitchen and dining areas. A staircase leads to a voluminous double-height gym.

Set on a little over half an acre in a private cul-de-sac, the revamped home is surrounded by palm trees and canyons. Along with lush landscaping, the backyard boasts a refreshing pool and a flower-covered trellis that shades an alfresco dining area. Scroll ahead to see more of the property, which is currently on the market for $3,150,000.

A small pool is located just a few steps away from the living room. A flower-covered trellis offers a canopy for alfresco dining and lounging.

The remodeled kitchen features high-end appliances and a marble-wrapped island.

An open layout connects the main living spaces—including a large dining area off the kitchen. Skylights and walls of windows usher in ample natural light.

A peek at one of the home’s four bedrooms. High ceilings and natural light brighten the space’s designer finishes.

The master bath includes a marble-lined steam shower and vanity, as well as a separate soaking tub.

At dusk, the home’s interior glows like a lantern against the icy blue pool.

13020 Sky Valley Road in Los Angeles is currently listed for $3,150,000 by Justin Paul Huchel of Hilton & Hyland.
