Rental Revamp: A Brooklyn Ceramicist Infuses a Timeworn Apartment With Her Signature Style

The open cabinets put Josephine’s playful glassware and ceramics collection on display. All of the mugs are from Goodwill, or are "seconds"—which is what Josephine calls the slightly imperfect pieces from her studio that she keeps for herself. The bottom left shelf features glasses that Josephine purchased on various trips to Mexico, while those on the right are Degen Face Vessels, handblown by artist Neil Drobnis.
