Hip Haven Bullet Planter

Originally manufactured by several companies in the 1950s, the Bullet Planter (2011) was never trademarked, and its designer never identified. One version of the story attributes its creation to a resourceful man who worked for a company that produced satellite dishes. When he brought one home, his wife found it made a perfect planter. This planter is still made from durable, compression-molded fiberglass, perched atop a tripod of powder-coated steel. Made in U.S.A.

Menu Wire Pot

The inspiration for this charming and decorative series came while Kasper Ronn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen were visiting a Japanese-inspired garden in L.A. The garden had custom made standing and hanging displays with flowers and light and together with the Japanese trees and small fountains it transformed the garden into a beautiful new kind of Art Deco. The series consists of three elegant bases for cosy oil lamps or beautifully floating flower arrangements. On top of these elegant bases you can put a cosy Oil Disc to light up the terrace, the patio, or all along the driveway - or a charming pot for green plants, fresh herbs, or lovely flowers. Mix and match between heights and contents and create your own tableau displays inside the house, or outside - or maybe even both. Photo Courtesy of 2Modern

Planterworx Arena Square Planter

What began as a small manufacturing business two decades ago has grown into an industry leader in landscape products. Planterworx was founded by Randy Rollner, who studied at Parsons before beginning his career in architectural metal in 1997. “It’s all in the details,” says Rollner, and the designers on his team are true artisans and craftsmen who bring the precise, balanced lines normally found in modern architecture to these metal Planters (2011). The Planterworx designers insist on using a high percentage of recycled content and recyclable materials. The powder-coated charcoal Planters are finished with an eco-friendly process that contains no V.O.C.s, and the overspray is 100% recoupable. The Corten® Steel Planters are made of the same material designed for bridges and skyscrapers, which has a reactive patina period of three to nine months, depending on location and climate. This patina or rust acts as a protective barrier and does not compromise the structural integrity of the material. After the initial reactive period, Corten Steel will cure and self-seal with very little runoff. Equipped with drainage holes. The Corten Steel Planters do not come pre-weathered. Made in U.S.A.
