Barcelonians are used to making the most of small apartments—after all, this is a city where group socializing happens on the streets. But once children enter into the family unit, maximizing space is even more importance. "A couple asked us for a space to centralize all domestic activities, such as homework, playing, watching TV, etc.," explains architect Adrian Elizade of Forma Arquitectura. "Basically, they wanted to keep an eye on the kids while cooking!"
