In 2007, Design Within Reach started collaborating with Jens Risom to reintroduce the chair and ottoman he originally designed in 1949 for the Caribe Hilton Hotel in Puerto Rico. The Jens Chair and Ottoman (2008) look the same as the ones made in 1949, but thanks to Risom’s input, they are smarter solutions that take advantage of resources and tools that weren’t available 60 years ago. As Risom put it, "Good design means that anything good will go well with other equally good things." Jens Armchair, $935
