Amazing designs. Amazing models. Way cool.
What a cool architect! Wonder what the snake house costs.
Would love to see a tour of the inside of one of his houses! They look like lovely little aliens.
These houses are so cool! I would lve to have a tour of the house
Imagination is a powerful tool.
Fantastic designs. For more check out http://www.bartprince.com/
Nice job of conveying a sense of his design sensitivity. I've been in the Corona del Mar beachfront home that he designed for Etsuko and Joe Price and was blown away by the attention to detail and high level of craftsmanship there.
Who's the music by in the piece?
The music under the title sequence is by Jed and Lucia. http://jedandlucia.com/
Fun and informative piece. Thanks very much.
Wonderful video about the work of a great architect.

What fun, imaginatively creative design! I'd love a tour of the snake house!
What unique architecture! Thank you for sharing.
Very beautiful & inspiring! It's nice to know there are people doing authentic work that isn't a fake representation of the past.
Great work Quentin and Amanda!
Bart Prince is one of my favorite Architects. I personally have had the pleasure of meeting him and seeing many of his models first hand. He has inspired me in many ways. I was very excited to see he was featured in dwell
excited to see a personal exploration of the taliesin / oklahoma spirit of organic architecture- well done- done well....

I too had the great pleasure of meeting and touring Bart Prince's studio as a student. Also a graduate of UNM, his work made a great impact on my personal work and I still love to make models as a part of my design process. Thanks Dwell!
I would have loved to see more of Mr. Prince and his work, and less of the drawn out intro, but I am very appreciative of this video. I believe Bart Prince is one of the greatest living architects today. Check out the book "The Architecture of Bart Prince: A Pragmatics of Place (Revised and Updated)" by Christopher Curtis Mead. Thank you!
An earlier comment stated that imagination is a powerful tool. It is quite pathetic that most residential architecture is quite devoid of imaginative design. Thank you very much for this glimpse of creativity.
Well I have to say, it's about time. I've know Bart for many years and it is really so very gratifying to see him get some of the attention he so richly deserves. Kudos to Dwell for highlighting an architect who challenges convention.
Wow! The snake house looks like Star Wars meets the desert! Love it.
What happened with Gary Nadeau? This video tries really hard to emulate that Gary Nadeau felling, but it doesn't even get close to it. Shots look terrible, there's even a bump into the tripod that somehow made it to the final cut. This video would be acceptable, only if we hadn't been spoiled with Gary's work before.
I don't enjoy modelmaking for clients but it can be useful. I love the snake house. It's amazing.
I just love the works wow! what is the track "home you will be home you will be loved you will be along with me" named as, who is the singer, awesome!
Riddhi, the song is by Jed and Lucia. http://jedandlucia.com/
