Use Walnut as a Grounding Material

Neal Schwartz: "Walnut acts as a strong backdrop, and anchors the rest of an open and airy room. What you don't sense from this image is the fact that the walnut wall hides a series of large walk-in closets. When people tour the house, they are surprised by the amount of concealed storage space, because the visual cues from the outside set a different sort of expectation. We needed a lot of storage for this room, but we didn't want the closets to feel like huge boxes sitting around the space.
