This structure is an air conditioning nightmare and if it were valued based on how it blends into the neighborhood it it would be financial disaster of the third order.

Does not look like an a/c nightmare to me - looks like he blocked harsh sun and provided glass on the north wall...

Cool name...Xeros...Love the glass detail and all the metal work. 12' base width is fantastic. Blends rather nicely....Great Job!

I love the cold rolled steel walls in the inside. But they must have some type of coating or finish or eventually there will be rusty hand prints all over walls and the inside will look as rusty as the outside.

Having lived in Phoenix and intentionally driven by this home, i think it is a complement to a growing eclectic neighborhood ready for it's next rendition and all enclosures / glass are smartly placed with regard to the intense Phoenix sun. The metal is such a perfect complement to the dessert. i also love the incorporation of the lower level w/out climate control i believe, smartly shaded by the home itself, vs. a traditional 'porch'.

over-rated! how can one tiny stark project get published in 3 national magazines??? john t- this project is $320/sf, i saw in another article... the owner/builders are so into themselves and the meaning of the 'concept' they think they've so cleverly come up with... give me a break!

I really enjoyed looking at the house. I'm keeping many of the ideas in my design box for my future home. Thank you!
