Wow. What design.... That is a beautiful home without a doubt.
Not to mention the landscape design by Andrea Cochran Landscape Architect - one of the best around...
It's a beutiful design. Where can I get information (buying sources) for "PVC rubber flooring embedded with stainless steel "plus" signs"? Thanks. Kevin 6/2/09
2500 square feet is not small.
Where can I get that painting????, Artists name???
I like a lot of things, but I don't like this.. Maybe it is the pictures, but there is nothing that feels expansive and relaxing. The high walls, low entry points, that narrow walk-way within walls, etc. engender a feeling of uncomfortable containment.
sa is right. The proportions of this house are all wrong. The space feels constricted, with its tall, dark and narrow spaces, especially the passage ways, and monolithic walls. Feels rather tomb-like (think the grand gallery of the great pyramid). The bed room feels austere rather than intimate due to the double height ceiling, hard edges and cold materials.
