When will designers learn that you need counter space on both sides of a cooktop. (Slide 9) Who would want to clean that entire glass window every time they cook? Ugh. The person that designed this obviously views their kitchen as a decoration rather than something to use.
If I lived in NYC, I'd have a fine collection of delivery menus- and the smallest (most unused) kitchen the planet has ever seen. Actually, it would be in a small, closing or barely discernible compartment with an under-counter 'fridge & sink w/fitted lid that would also serve dual purpose so maybe no one would see it. But that's just me... I can never quite grasp why people dictate- as well as 'ugh' -homes that other people hone just perfectly so: for herself (above, Ms. Goolrick) and no other? I've no idea how she uses it, but I find it altogether delightful -and the perfect size home as well.
