Students are notoriously adept at making the best of a tight budget. Students at Pratt Institute's Department of Industrial Design proved that at least design innovation doesn't have to be born out of the big bucks. The theme for the school's installation at last May's ICFF was simple: Make products for the modest cost of a single shingle.
