Great place. Do you know of cork flooring retailers in the USA?

I just went to Google's shopping site, there are a lot of retailers selling cork flooring. Here is a link to a DIY site, it looks pretty easy to do. http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/home_improvement/article/0,,DIY_13954_4314409,00.htm Good Luck David

I want to cover approximately 400 square meters of floor area with cork, love the stuff, but when I see it sealed in shops it always looks and feels like plastic. A store in Berlin, Biofarben, is the only place I've found where the material, once sealed, maintains its warm, chalky texture. I'm not convinced that this seal is durable though . . . Anyone have any experience with nice/gross cork flooring they can share?

I just put down Westhollow Niagra in my house by myself 52 yr old female, It is wonderful and if I can put it in anyone can. I have had it in my living area for 4 years with 2 large dogs coming in and out, all the teenage boys in the area running in and out without cleaning off their shoes. The floor looks great. If needed the floor can be screeded and poly applied. no need yet. Very durable, easy on knees, warm too. I floors on the internet. I soaked a board in water for 2 weeks and it did not de laminate, fall apart or swell. That is when I purchased enough to do the whole house. Get it you will love it . You don't see the dirt.

The rocking chair in pic 4: Does anyone know the maker? Beautiful, see how the outermost back supports swing forward to become armrests, supporting more spindles. A Scandinavian take on the classic Windsor chair?
