This is cool, but nowhere near as cool as the Earthships in Taos, NM (and now spreading elsewhere in the world..). Same concept of "off the grid" living but way more in depth. I'm surprised I can't find an article on this site about them! http://earthship.com/
This looks like an awesome project! I bet it was pretty difficult to build the earth walls - did you use a lot of machines? Or was it a lot of hand labor? I want to do something like this next summer :D
It's an amazing house. I am so happy that i live here. It's a little different but there is nothing i would change about it.
