I love how they made this house their home. I have a 1200 square foot home and believe any space can be a home with style with a little vision. I have a question regarding paint colors; what color blue is that used in the kitchen? Thank you.

I think Lukcy did an awesome job....I bet this place means so much more to them because of the creativity and hard work and low cost that went into it (ha ha I am calling $55K "LOW COST")...but it is...relatively speaking....I love the place.....we live in an 1100-1200 sq ft place in atlanta...you just have to make it your own....

I love this story, it mirrors that of my husband and myself. We completely remodeled our 1179 square foot house on $50,000 and economized by doing most of the work ourselves, contracting out the cabinet making and countertops in the kitchen. We wanted quality materials, and most of our money went towards that rather than a contractor. We LOVE the way our house turned out. It takes nerves of steel and a strong stomach to do it and I wouldn't have changed anything (except probably the kitchen backsplash, no money for glass tiles!)
