Oh how I do love that seating area (photo #3)... I can imagine many an afternoon reading there with the children.

What kind of plywood is that? How is it finished?
I'm sorry to say, but it kind of looks like ikea. And why wouldn't you actually do something with the floor, instead of keeping those "amazing hieroglyphs". That just means unfinished.
