The simplicity is exquisite and would blend into any environment. We love this house. Peter and Debbie
Wanted to know the name of artist whose Two large framed works are hund in background of the living room photo above - hanging behind Fleming playing banjo. Gary Garrido schneider Montclair Art Museum
Hi Gary, the name of the artist is Liz Parkinson. Here's an interesting blog article questioning why the artists aren't mentioned in these articles and also discussing Parkinson's recent work. http://neurartic.blogspot.com/2010/04/liz-parkinsons-art-brings-joy-to.html. For inquiries about availability of the works mentioned and other works, contact akcollings(at)sympatico(dot)ca. Here also is Liz's web address: http://www.lizparkinson.com/
Does anyone know what kind of siding is on the front of this house?
I do not like the way the artwork is hung in the dining area. Not gallery like at all. Otherwise the house looks cozy, inside - - although the building next door looks depressing.
"The main bath has a concrete tub that Fleming cast to fit his wife’s body." I understand the idea, but holy cats that reads like a Stephen King sentence.
Thanks Debbie !
It looks very nice unfortunately the house next door still looks brown.
Warm feeling??? Place looks like a hospital..These folks definitly like white.
Love that steel beam throughout the house!
What was the overall cost for design and construction?
¿floor plan with dimensions?
Love the house - and the way they have displayed their art (after all it's not a gallery - see above comment). The bath is superb - functional and sculptural. Overall a great space.
