Konstantin Grcic is one of my heroes. I find his work equal parts seductive, mysterious and avant garde. His Chair-One I first saw in the De Young museum in San Francisco & I was immediately captivated by it. I think he's building on the work of his predecessors such as the design legends of the 1950's, in fact I think I'd place him on a top five list that we could count on the fingers of one hand of spectacular designers today.
Gloriously hot. Adorably handsome. Perfectly cerebral. Konstantin, if you are ever in Los Angeles....find me.
