$800 for a carry-on? Aux barricades!

This one with the bas relief of a revolver is cute in a "cloak and dagger" 60's spy throwback kind of way. I like the idea a lot. But terribly socially irresponsible, from a safety point of view. Two things could happen if people start traveling with these things... First, they'll freak out airport security as the x-ray machines pick up the gun shape due to the slight differences in thickness, etc. (i.e. I don't think the machine sees only metal vs. non-metal). Secondly, God forbid that these really take off in popularity - then the security staff could become lax about checking for things shaped like guns, thinking "oh yeah, prolly just one of those suitcases with the gun design."

this zh profile bag is great value for such a refined, sophisticated and modern design. It's understated elegance at a very approachable price. gorm

Remember LeSportsac? Weighs next to nothing and you can fit a ton of clothes into the weekenders and still get it in the smallest of overheads compartments even on regional jets!

Funny, I bought the same bag minus the leather handles from American Apparel for $17 three years ago. Weekend Bag indeed. I spent the extra $210 on Mai Thais poolside.
